Consultations:

Yes. Consultations are complimentary. Every patient is unique, and in order to give the best experience and results we can not schedule a procedure without a consultation.

At your consultation you will meet with one of our Patient Specialists Coordinators at the start of your appointment and then you will meet with your Surgeon. Our team will explain all the benefits of our procedures, discuss your goals and expectations, answer any questions you may have, and develop an individualized plan just for you.

  • Once your procedure is booked. Our nursing team will reach out to review your medical history with you and confirm with your Surgeon if any additional information is needed.
  • Our nursing team will contact you one week pre-procedure and 48 hours pre-procedure to go over any instructions and answer any questions you may have.

  • Our medical team will ask you to come in approximately 30-60 minutes prior to your procedure start time. This gives ample time to fill out any paperwork and allows our nursing team to pre-op you (obtain your vitals). You will meet with your Surgeon to confirm and go over areas and or any changes the day of your procedure. Our medical team will give your medications to relax you. Your Surgeon will numb the areas to be treated and remove all fat that is above the muscle. You will be awake for the entire experience and are able to communicate with our team or simply listen to your favorite playlist or podcast.
  • Once the procedure is completed our nursing team will assist you to the recovery room. Most patients are ready to be discharged after 30 minutes. Once you are cleared and ready to go home our nursing team will discharge you to a responsible adult to drive you home.
  • Our surgeons recommend lymphatic drainage massages preoperatively and postoperatively to optimize the results.
  • Lymphatic drainage massages preoperatively assists in preparing the tissue to be in optimal condition for fat removal.
  • Lymphatic drainage massages post-operatively assist your body to heal faster, decrease swelling, decrease and soften scar tissue.

What can I expect during my procedure?

  • Each person is unique in the way we interpret pain. Pain tolerance varies from person to person. During the procedure you are awake during the entire process and may experience mild discomfort during the numbing process. Most patients report comparing the experience to a deep tissue massage.
  • Many patients post-procedure report feeling aches and pains similar to those experienced after a vigorous workout. Your medical team and surgeon will prescribe you pain medication preoperatively to make any discomfort manageable, so follow your medication schedule closely. Majority of our patients return to work within two to three days, depending on the number of areas treated and the amount of fat removed.
  • Our technique is minimally invasive and much more gentle on the body compared to traditional liposuction. This allows for a faster and easier recovery.

The actual procedure can take about 1 to 3 hours depending on the areas being treated.

What can I expect post-procedure?

It is common for patients to experience some bruising and swelling after surgery, and there are very small entry points that may leave a minimal scar. The size of the entry point can be compared to a pen point. It can take 6 months to a year for a scar to mature and heal. Typically, it is impossible even to find where the entry points were.

  • Our medical team wants you up and walking the day after your procedure for about 45 minutes per day for the first two weeks.
  • After two weeks you may resume your regular exercise routine after consulting with your Surgeon.

Yes, our surgeons will advise you to wear your compression garment for four weeks. Depending on the areas your surgeon may advise you to wear your garment less frequently or for a longer period of time. The garments can be worn under most clothing without being visible.

Yes, our medical team will provide you with a complimentary garment. If you would like to purchase additional garments, they are $125.00 each.

  • Results are instantaneous. Although results are instant, you may appear to be swollen for the next several weeks. As each week progresses the swelling will decrease. You will see approximately 75% of your results at your 3 month mark but you will continue to heal throughout your 6 month mark.
  • You can fly the next day after your procedure. The recommended time is one to two days for comfort purposes.
  • If you plan to vacation where your skin will be exposed, it is recommended to schedule your procedure at least 4 weeks prior to your scheduled vacation.
  • If the time frame is less than two weeks, do not submerge your entry points in any bodies of water until they are completely closed and healed. This is to prevent any complications.

All about the fat (transfers)

Yes, our surgeons regularly perform fat grafting/transfer procedures to enhance the body.

  • The most common areas our surgeons transfer fat to include: Buttocks, Breast, Hands and Hips.
  • If you have an interest in fat transfer to another area, it may be possible depending on the Surgeon. This can be discussed during your consultation.
  • Our medical team strongly advises to avoid putting pressure on the transferred area for at least two weeks. Avoid wearing tight fitting clothing that applies pressure to the transferred area. Most patients return to work and or school three to four days depending on the amount of areas treated.
  • BBL/Hip transfer recovery: it is important to sleep on your abdomen and use the BBL pillow we provide for at least two weeks.
  • Breast transfer recovery: it is important to sleep on your back and to refrain from wearing a bra with underwire for 2-4 weeks.
  • The amount of fat that survives after transfer is unpredictable. This varies person to person. Most patients lose approximately 20-30% of the transferred fat. Our surgeons do take this into consideration when transferring.
  • Another risk is infection. We provide instructions preoperatively and postoperatively to prevent any chances of infection. The infection rate is extremely low because we do provide antibiotics before and after your procedure as a prophylactic measure. Our medical team also recommends washing with dial antibacterial soap the night prior to your procedure and the morning of your procedure.

Questions about weight

At Premiere we focus on the art of body contouring. During the procedure we can remove up to 5 liters of fat which equates to about 10lbs. This does not sound like much however, where you are going to see your results is in inches. This is not considered a weight loss procedure.

At Premiere only one session is needed. Multiple sessions for the same area are not necessary. This can be discussed and assessed during your free consultation.

Our medical team does not recommend losing weight for the procedure.

Payment

Please call one of our consultants to discuss all of our payment options or schedule your free consultation today.
